Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Donna is a supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), which was founded in 1949 and has since grown to be the 'largest voluntary health organization' for funding research and searching for cures to blood cancers. LLS was founded by the de Villiers family, after they lost their son to leukemia. Over 75% of the funds received by LLS go to program services, including funding research.

Alzheimer’s Association

Donna is a supporter of the Alzheimer's Association, which has the mission of eliminating Alzheimer's disease through research, enhancing patient care, and promoting brain health to prevent brain debilitating disease. The Alzheimer's Association was founded in 1980 by a group of people interested in research to the disease.

ASPCA

Donna and her family are supporters of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and are avid animal advocates. The ASPCA was "...founded on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans..." and has programs across the nation in support of their mission. They are a privately funded non-profit organization.
